Hi, I'm Lucy

My baking journey started with a simple frustration, I could never find the perfect brownie. During the pandemic, I decided to take matters into my own hands, spending countless hours testing, tweaking, and developing recipes until I created one I truly loved.

What began as baking for friends and family quickly grew into supplying a local café, turning a passion into something much bigger. Having previously been involved in a bakery venture in Leeds, I knew I wanted to build a brand of my own. One focused on quality, indulgence, and treats that people genuinely get excited about.

Today, every Chunk'd bake is made with the same attention to detail that started it all: great ingredients, plenty of flavour, and absolutely no cutting corners.

Chunk'd was built from a love of baking and a belief that every treat should be worth the calories. Whether it's a chunky cookie or a fudgy brownie.

Getting personal now...

I'm a Leeds-based baker, Scorpio, Type A organiser, dog mum to Rosco, and someone who spends too much time on Pinterest.

When I'm not in the kitchen, you'll find me lounging with Rosco (our Rottweiler), watching too much TikTok, or enjoying a proper Sunday roast (my favourite food by a mile). I'm also a self-proclaimed water connoisseur and, controversially, I can't stand coffee.

For me, baking has never been just about making brownies, cookies, or cakes. It's about creating moments.

I've always been someone who genuinely cares about people, and baking has become my way of showing that. There's something special about creating something from scratch and knowing it might brighten someone's day, bring people together, or become part of a memory they'll cherish.

That's why every Chunk'd bake is made with so much care and attention. Not because it's my job, but because it's my passion. I believe everyone deserves those little pleasures in life. The moments that make you smile, slow down, and savour what's in front of you.

If a Chunk'd brownie or cookie can do that for even a few minutes, then I've done exactly what I set out to do.

Life's too short for average brownies, tiny cookies, or bad baking, and that's exactly why Chunk'd exists.
